赤松楓太さん（アジズル研M1）が第76回中国地方技術研究会で優秀賞を受賞しました／Excellent Research Presentation Award has been received by Mr. Futa Akamatsu of Azizul`s Laboratory

このたび、令和7年8月7日・8日に国土交通省中国地方整備局にて開催された「令和7年度 第76回中国地方技術研究会」において、
「3Dプリンタとバイオ電気計測を用いた新たな木本植物微生物燃料電池の開発」
という題目で発表を行い、イノベーション部門にて優秀賞を受賞いたしました。

本研究室では、電気のない生活を送る人々への電力供給、地球温暖化問題や発電に伴う二酸化炭素排出量の増加といった社会課題の解決を目指し、環境にやさしい発電技術の開発に取り組んでおります。今回の発表では、従来モデルの課題を踏まえて改良した新たな植物微生物燃料電池について報告いたしました。植物を活用した燃料電池の開発は、ヒートアイランド現象の緩和やスマートシティへの電力供給にも資する可能性があると考えております。

 

Excellent Research Presentation Award has been received by Mr. Futa Akamatsu of Azizul`s Laboratory

 At the 76th Chugoku Regional Technology Research Meeting, held at the Chugoku Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on August 7th and 8th, 2025, Mr. Akamtsu Futa a graduate student (M1) of Azizul`s laboratory gave a presentation titled “Development of a New Woody Plant Microbial Fuel Cell Using a 3D Printer and Bioelectric Measurements,” and received the Excellence Award in the Innovation Division. Mr. Akamatsu is working to develop environmentally friendly power generation technologies, aiming to provide electricity to people living without electricity and to solve social issues such as global warming and the increase in carbon dioxide emissions associated with power generation. In this presentation, Mr. Akamatsu reported on a new plant-based microbial fuel cell that was improved upon to address the issues with previous models. We believe that the development of plant-based fuel cells may also contribute to mitigating the heat island effect and supplying power to smart cities.
